The American Liver Foundation (ALF) announced Hilda Fuentes has been elected to the Board of Directors.
In making the announcement Donna Cryer, Chair of the American Liver Foundation said, “These are exciting times for the Foundation as we work together to advance our mission. To ensure our success for the benefit of people with liver disease, we continue to engage the best and brightest volunteers and staff leadership available. We are delighted to welcome Hilda Fuentes to our team.”
Hilda Fuentes is the Chief Executive Officer at the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center in Kansas City. She is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and operation of the health center where she successfully lead a $25 million capital campaign to build a new facility. Prior to her current position, Ms. Fuentes was the Deputy Director of the Missouri Health Department. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and is active as a volunteer in the Kansas City community.
Newton Guerin, President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Liver Foundation said, “We believe that the leadership and knowledge Hilda Fuentes brings to our volunteers and staff across the country will move us closer to the day when we can say liver disease no longer threatens our public health.”
