Rebecca Frank

Executive Vice President, Chief Development and Marketing Officer

Rebecca Frank became Executive Vice President, Chief Development and Marketing Officer for the American Liver Foundation in January 2008. Ms. Frank is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She spent the next ten years in a variety of marketing positions and a variety of locations as she accompanied her husband, a naval officer, around the country.

Most recently, Ms. Frank served as the Executive Vice-President of Development for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maryland Chapter. With the National MS Society, she ascended quickly from Campaign Coordinator to Campaign Manager to Director of Special Events and, eventually to Executive Vice-President of Development. In these various roles, Ms. Frank was responsible for all revenue generation, marketing, communications and campaign development for the chapter. She was instrumental in initiating a new collaborative campaign, the 3-Day Challenge Walk that resulted in over $1m in revenue. In addition, she grew revenue generated by the Gala from $200,000 to $1.2 million in two years. Gross revenues increased by 35% under her leadership.

Subsequent to her position with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ms. Frank served as Executive Director of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Maryland. During her 3 year tenure there, revenue grew 130%.

In addition to her professional activities, Ms. Frank is an avid golfer; she supports other charitable organizations by competing in one-day century bike rides and enjoys spending time with her grown son, Ben, who lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
