Georgetown University Hospital celebrates 500 liver transplants!
Georgetown University Hospital's Transplant Institute performed their 500th liver transplant on September 12, 2007.
After nine years of providing liver transplants to patients in the Washington, DC area, Georgetown University Hospital has performed their 500th liver transplant. The American Liver Foundation's National Capital Chapter salutes GU's continued efforts to provide excellent care to those living with liver disease and awaiting transplant.
