First Steps is a class designed to help educate newly identified hepatitic C patients and addresses many of the most frequently asked questions about hepatitis C, including information about testing positive, healthy lifestyle choices and how to be an informed patient. Topics include the liver, viral hepatitis, diagnostic tools, lifestyle changes, preparing for medical appointments and vaccinations.

A light lunch will be provided as well as a PowerPoint presentation, followed by a brief question/answer session. Cost: FREE
