Event brings in over 400 people, raises $170,000!
Flavors of CT was another astounding sold-out event this year. ALF and guests welcomed 30 restaurants and chefs to the event at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington. Guests were wowed by the original table designs and decorations. However, this was only the beginning of the evening.
As promised, the talented chef's once again provided an exquisite meal from the "best hors d’oeurve ever,” to the endless and imaginative courses and wine pairings.
Featured auction items included a limousine trip to NYC for a taping of Iron Chef America, a picnic on a corporate yacht, Sous chef for a day, VIP tickets the Macy’s Day parade and spa vacations at the Canyon Ranch.
The Most Imaginative Tablescape award went to the New Mill Restaurant, the Best Floral Design award went to Bee & Thistle Inn, the Most Innovative Design award went to Simmer Restaurant & Lounge and the Overall Table Award went to Tre Scalini Restaurant.
We are already taking reservations for next year’s event which is set for March 31, 2008 at the Aqua Turf Club. Get ready for another exciting event next year.
