With over 2,000 walkers and gaining on over $213,000 for liver research we are beyond thankful! Walkers from all across the state (and even as far as PA and FL!) joined for a day filled with smiles and fun!
Participants enjoyed live entertainment from the band Midnight, balloon characters from Random Acts of Entertainment, face painting, crafters and vendors, Hy the Clown, a free BBQ and Subway sandwiches and much, much more! The Team Area was filled with over 60 teams representing those walking in memory or honor of someone with liver disease. Media coverage from NBC Connecticut was played throughout the weekend documenting this momentous occasion. The River 105.9 was on site to help keep the walkers excited as well.
Memories made will last a lifetime and we can't thank you enough Connecticut for making us the Top Liver Life Walk Event in the Country for the second year in a row!
We are looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year!
