JUST FOR KIDS
Click here for games, trivia and other activites for children. The American Liver Foundation’s “Love Your Liver” Youth Education Program is a 30-45 minute interactive education program on liver wellness, for elementary through high school students across America. The program educates students about the liver and the positive actions they can take to improve their liver health and prevent liver disease. If you would like for your school to take part in this program, please contact the Georgia Chapter to inquire about scheduling.

Treatment in Hepatology

Dr. Brian Pearlman is an active member on our Board of Directors. He supports our annual Liverwalk and is also a participant on our Community Service Committee.
Dr. Pearlman started his training at the University of Miami where he first became interested in liver disease under the guidance of Eugene Schiff. He completed his training in Baylor Medical Center in Texas after doing extra training in Diagnostic Radiology at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He is a general internist that has a special interest in Hepatitis C. He is currently the Medical Director for The Center For Hepatitis C in Atlanta, Georgia and serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Dr. Pearlman is based in Atlanta Medical Center where he is active in both patient care and teaching medical students and resident physicians. He also lectures nationally and frequently publishes in medical journals, most recently on the topic of Hepatitis C.
