Specialty in Liver Diseases and Liver Transplantation, Guest Speaker Dr. Stephen H. Borowsky

Gastroenterologist, Dr. Stephen Borowsky, speaks in an open forum on Hepatitis C, diseases of the liver, liver transplantation and the effects of alcoholism on the liver.

On Friday, October 16, 2009, the TRIO chapter is honored to have as a guest speaker, Dr. Stephen H. Borowsky. Dr. Borowsky has devoted his professional career to the practice of Gastroenterology with a specialty on liver diseases and the effects of alcoholism on the liver. During his medical career he has held academic appointments at such eminent medical institutions as UCLA School of Medicine, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and the Sepulveda VA Hospital. Dr. Borowsky now devotes a majority his time to teaching and research.
