The American Liver Foundation, Greater New York Division is proud to be part of this year’s 2014 NYC Viral Hepatitis Awareness Press Conference on the steps of City Hall. Our Division’s Community Outreach and Education Manager, Paul Bolter, will be speaking as a hepatitis C patient advocate.
One in 12 people worldwide have viral hepatitis B or C – far higher than the prevalence of HIV or any cancer. Get involved in the 2014 NYC Viral Hepatitis Awareness Press Conference to help raise the visibility of viral hepatitis in NYC. The event will recognize National Hepatitis Awareness Month during May as well as National Hispanic Hepatitis Awareness Day on May 15, and National Hepatitis Testing Day on May 19.
