The American Liver Foundation (ALF) Greater New York Division’s Young Professionals Board (YPB) volunteers its time, creativity and intellectual resources to create awareness as well as assist in the fight against liver disease. The YPB develops fun, unique networking events that enables us to achieve our goals, raise funds and support the overall mission of ALF.

The Young Professionals Board (YPB) Gets Down on the Hudson!

On Wednesday, August 20, 2008, ALF's Young Professionals Board held its second fundraising/awareness event at the beautiful 79th Street Boat Basin Cafe on the Hudson River in Manhattan. The evening was perfect for a gathering of friends, old and new, to head West and enjoy the sunset as well as raise much-needed funds in support of ALF's mission. Liver Disease Awareness was also on the agenda for the evening as newcomers learned a bit about ALF, liver disease and prevention. It was a fun event and Greater New York would like to thank the YPB members and everyone who attended for making it a success!
