The Indianapolis Indians take on the Pawtucket Red Sox, and the American Liver Foundation will be promoting hepatitis awareness and liver wellness and disease education.

May is Hepatitis Awareness Month! More than four million Americans have been infected with hepatitis C, which is responsible for 8,000-10,000 deaths annually. An estimated 30 million Americans suffer from approximately 100 liver diseases.

Throughout the game, the American Liver Foundation, Hepatitis Awareness Month and the Liver Life Walk will be promoted through a ceremonial first pitch, a display table in Center Field Plaza, a radio interview during the game broadcast, and public service announcements.
