Volunteer Today!

The American Liver Foundation relies on volunteer support in many aspects of our work. Your small contribution of time can make a huge impact on fundraising, education and other critical components of liver disease research and treatment. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Event Manager, Emily Jensen at ejensen@liverfoundation.org.

Meet one of our volunteers: Sharon Shi!

"My volunteer efforts started as a life long dream to be a mascot, but soon turned into a an education of liver disease and bringing awareness to it. As much as I love giving high-fives and dancing around as the Liver Man, volunteering for this organization has educated me on the causes of liver disease beyond my original assumption of just alcohol consumption. I met survivors of the disease, including a little boy, and its quite touching to hear their stories. I find myself discussing and educating others of liver disease when I tell them about my experiences, which provides more awareness for this organization. For this, I'm proud to dedicate my time and efforts with the American Liver Foundation."
