The Gore Tex Philadelphia Half and Full Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2014 drawing more than 30,000 runners and walkers.
In Philadelphia, we redefine the experience of what a marathon should be. A beautiful course, an engaging atmospher- it's no wonder we're consistently listed among the top ten courses in the country, recognize for the flat terrain, mellow weather and spirited fans.
Expect beautiful views through fairmount Park and along the Schuylkill River and neighborhood crowds on sidewalks in University City and Manayunk. Weave through through the well-traveled streets of our historic district, passing sights familair to Franklin, Washignton and the rest of the gang, and end your race speeding toward the steps of the majestic Art Museum.
Digital splits are provided at the 10K, 13.1 miles and the 30K marks along the course, and fluid stations and spectator overlooks are set up throughout the course.

Applications for the 2014 Gore Tex Philadelphia Marathon to benefit the American Liver Foundation, Mid-Atlantic Division, are currently being accepted. They will be reviewed on a rolling bases. Once a runner is accepted to the Liver Life Challenge team a fundraising agreement will be sent as well as link to create your personal fundraising web page.
