It's time to get down and get funky with Groove Thang and the America Liver Foundation, February 24, 2012 at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis for the 5th Annual Boogie Ball.

The ALF's Board of Directors will present the 2011 leadership award along with a surprise announcement of 2011 Volunteer of the Year award.

Dress the part (70's disco attire is entirely optional) and you could walk away with the grand prize for best attire. You have got to check out one of best entertainment fundraiser's in the mid west. You won't want to miss this exciting fundraiser. RC eMCee's will spin some of the best 70's mix after the performance so you can continue to dance the night away.

Since conception, our annual fundraising event has grown significantly in many ways. Among the highlights:

Gross revenues have increased from $71,000 to $390,000

The number of participants has grown from 150 to 650

The number of sponsors has nearly quadrupled, from 13 to 51

In addition, ALF always recognizes local leaders at this event who have contributed to the organization and its success. Past honorees include Michael F. Neidorff, former U.S. Ambassador Geroge Herbert Walker III, Dr. William A. Peck, Dr. James Kimmey, former U.S. Ambassador Sam Fox, Dr. William Danforth, E. Desmond Lee, Lee Liberman, Dr. Ron Evens and Marshall Faulk.

Supporting this event will help ensure that the American Liver Foundation’s mission continues to flourish in our community for the next 10 years.
