>2007 Kansas City Pridefest Screening is a hugh success.
The American Liver Foundation partnered with the Kansas City Health Department to offer free hepatitis C screenings and free hepatitis A and B vaccinations. The Kansas City Health Department also offered HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia. The event was held Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2, 2007 at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri. After two grueling days in the hot sun, the great staff of the Kansas City Health Department and the Amnerican Liver Foundation screened over 200 individuals for hepatitis C and vacinnated for hepatitis A & B. Thank you to the Kansas City Health Department and Roche Pharmaceuticals who made this possible. We hope that you can join us at the 2007 Show Me State Rodeo presented by the MGRA on September 15 & 16, 2007 were we will partner with KCHD to offer free hepatitis screening and vaccination.
