2010 American Liver Foundation Research Awards

April 2010, ALF announed the winners of its 2010 Research Awards.

2010 Research Awards Announcement

In April 2010, ALF announced the winners of its 2010 Research Awards Program. Twelve scientists representing twelve medical and research institutions were awarded nearly $1,000,000 to support their research in the areas of alagille syndrome, hepatic cirrhosis and fibrosis, biliary atresia, hepatitis C, liver grafts, polycystic liver disease, hepatic carcinoma and primary biliary cirrhosis.

Since the inception of its Research Awards Program, ALF has provided more than $23 million in funding to nearly 700 award recipients.

ALF is proud to support these research efforts and hopeful that they will bring us closer to finding cures for liver disease.
