Dr. Charles Trey Educational Program
Our education programs honor the memory of Dr. Charles Trey, the chapter’s physician- founder, who was a leading liver researcher and educator, as well as a dedicated and compassionate caregiver. The programs are designed to offer informative educational opportunities to patients, professionals and the general public.
CME Accreditation
This CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of The Institute for Medical Studies (IMS) and The American Liver Foundation, New England Chapter. The Institute for Medical Studies is accredited by the ACCME to provide CME for physicians. IMS designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5.5 hours in category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
