Flavors of Boston 2013 An Unforgettable Experience

Flavors of Boston, a culinary experience and fundraiser hosted by the American Liver Foundation New England Division raised over $130,000.

On Friday, September 20th, 2013, over 200 guests joined the American Liver Foundation at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center to celebrate Ronald Renaud, President and CEO of Idenix Pharmaceuticals and raise funds for the American Liver Foundation. Jim Lokay of WCVB emcee'd the event. Chefs prepared a meal table-side for guests and included:

  • Chef Jonathan Dunn of Lavishly Dunn]
  • Chef Richard Rayment of the Seaport Hotel

  • Chef Jeff Martino of The Franklin Cafe
  • Chef Mark Allen of Towne Stove and Spirits
  • Chef Jason Bautista of Turner Fisheries
  • Chef Dan Pogue of Westin Copley

The program for the evening included an award presentation to Ron Renaud for his dedication to the American Liver Foundation; silent and live auctions; and a Fund-The-Mission program to provide guests an opportunity to directly support the mission.

The evening was a success, raising over $130,000 for the cause. Photos of the event are on the ALF New England Facebook page. Planning is underway for the Flavors of Boston 2014 event.
