The Liver LIFE Walk is a pledged 3 mile walk event that promotes liver disease awareness while raising funds for liver disease research, education and advocacy. The Liver LIFE Walks offer an important opportunity for those of whose lives have been touched to promote liver disease awareness. The future is up to each of us. Promoting awareness means we are in the public spotlight. Each of us that promotes liver disease awareness helps dispel the myths that exist about liver disease. It helps educate others, encourages those who may feel ashamed to join with us and be a partner, and lastly, reaches out to those who may not know about the ALF and engages them to be advocates for the future.

With 30 million Americans affected by liver disease, it is imperative that liver disease goes public. 30 Million Americans. We cannot hope and we cannot wait.

Salute To Excellence

San Francisco. March 2011. The Salute to Excellence Awards Gala is an annual black tie optional dinner and reception honoring those who have made an outstanding contribution to biotechnology and medical innovation. The event has been held annually for twelve years and to date has raised more than $4.1 million dollars.

Liver LIFE Challenge CLIMB

Mt. Shasta, June (TBD) 2011. The Liver LIFE Challenge Climb is a pledged overnight endurance climb event. Climbers raise a minimum of $2,000 in pledges through corporate and/or vendor contacts, friends and family members for the American Liver Foundation while promoting liver wellness and organ donation. The program has raised more than $616,000 since its inception.

Liver LIFE Challenge Alcatraz Sharkfest Swim
