The division works to promote liver wellness and education initiatives through targeted programs that reach the youth, patients, the general public and the professional community. Liver Matters Education Program

The Liver Matters Education Program incorporates key strategies to keep one's liver healthy. The program can be scheduled throughout the year as either a stand-alone program, lunch and learn or as a part of your corporate wellness series. The Program is designed to be a 60 minutes presentation but can be customized to fit the time your organization has to offer. Call 415-248-1060, Ext. 14 to schedule a program.

Salute to Excellence Awards Gala 2013 - Directions

Salute to Excellence Awards Gala, the annual dinner and reception honoring those who have made an outstanding contribution to biotechnology and medical innovation. The fourteenth annual event will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Palace Hotel In San Francisco. More than $4 million has been raised to date.

Liver Life Challenge Mount Shasta Climb - Directions

June 7th, 2013

Outdoor enthusiasts, mountaineers, climbers, hikers and weekend warriors are invited to train with the American Liver Foundation for the Liver Life Challenge Mount Shasta Climb, a two-day overnight endurance climb to the summit of the imposing 14,162-foot Mount Shasta, the second highest volcano in the continental US and a prominent peak in the Cascade Range.
