 | Salute To ExcellenceMarch 13th, 2010 San Francisco. March 13. The Salute to Excellence Awards Gala is an annual black tie optional dinner and reception honoring those who have made an outstanding contribution to biotechnology and medical innovation.  | Liver LIFE Challenge Climb-Avalanche GulchJune 5th, 2010 Mt. Shasta: June 5-6. Avalanche Gulch. The Liver LIFE Challenge Climb is a pledged overnight endurance climb event. Climbers raise pledges through corporate and/or vendor contacts, friends and family members for the American Liver Foundation while promoting liver disease awareness.  | Liver LIFE Challenge Open Bay SwimJune 6th, 2010 San Francisco: June 6. The Liver LIFE Challenge Open Bay Swim is a pledged open water endurance 1.5 mile swim from the historic Alcatraz Island through the San Francisco Bay. The Liver LIFE Challenge TRI is a pledged open water 1.5 mile swim from the historic Alcatraz Island through the San Francisco Bay, a 2.5 mile transition run, and a 13 mile bike ride that finishes with a 10K run.  | Flavors Culinary GalaJune 27th, 2010 Woodside: June 27. The Flavors Culinary Gala is a unique culinary event held at the Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside. The event brings together 12 of the best and most innovative peninsula and south bay chefs for an exciting and intimate evening of exquisite food, fine wine, and elaborate table décor alfresco! Each chef designs and prepares their signature five-course culinary adventure tableside with accompanying wines by Thomas Fogarty Winery for one table of ten.
