Liver LIFE Challenge Climb-Avalanche Gulch

Mt. Shasta: June 5-6. Avalanche Gulch. The Liver LIFE Challenge Climb is a pledged overnight endurance climb event. Climbers raise pledges through corporate and/or vendor contacts, friends and family members for the American Liver Foundation while promoting liver disease awareness. The program has raised more than $575,000 since its inception.

AVALANCHE GULCH- Avalanche Gulch is a 2 day summit climb. On the first day, we hike to Horse Camp, where we spend the evening on the mountain (June 5th) and are given instruction in basic fundamentals of mountaineering. The next day an alpine start begins our journey to the summit. You should be in very good physical condition to consider the Alpine style climb. June 4th and 6th lodging will be provided.
