Dr. Aijaz Ahmed, Associate Professor and Medical Director of the Liver Transplant Program at Stanford University School of Medicine, will present, "Patients Who Failed Previous HCV Therapy: Management Strategies to Raise Cure Rates."
LEARNING OBJECTIVES (CME/CNE/CE)
Upon completion of this activity, the participant intends to incorporate the following objectives into their practice of medicine:
• Select appropriate anti-HCV regimens according to the AASLD recommendations in my patients who had failed previous HCV therapy
• Utilize my understanding of potential resistance associated with antiviral therapy to optimize SVR rates in my patients who had failed previous HCV therapy
• Prescribe management approaches for my HCV patients who develop complications associated with antiviral combination therapy
LEARNING OBJECTIVES (CPE)
Upon completion of this activity, the pharmacist should be able to:
