Upon completion of this activity, the participant intends to incorporate the following objectives into their practice of medicine:
• Screen and test for hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in my patients at high risk for HBV infection according to the
recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
• Diagnosis HBV infection using the tests recommended by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD)
• Appropriately select anti-HBV therapy in my HBV-infected patients according to the AASLD recommendations
