World Hepatitis Day Poster Contest

The first World Hepatitis Day will he held May 19, 2008. The aim of this single international day focusing on chronic hepatitis (B and C) is to raise awareness of these dieseases within the general public, people at risk, healthcare providers and governments. To honor this special day, the Center for Disease Control is sponsoring a national poster contest.

The Division of Viral Hepatitis of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is sponsoring a national poster contest in honor of World Hepatitis Day on May 19, 2008.

Individual artists of amateur and professional status are eligible to participate. Organziations who would like to submit a group entry are also eligible.

Contestants should create and submit a poster in one of the following categories:

  • General Viral Hepatitis Awareness
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C
