Press Release: The Washington Health Benefit Exchange announces Washington Healthplanfinder.

Washington Healthplanfinder is scheduled to roll out in the Fall of 2013 and will serve as a central marketplace for individuals, families and small businesses to buy health insurance, as a part of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA). 2013 Liver Life Walk - Puget Sound 8:00 am, June 29th, 2013 Save The Date! Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Magnuson Park in Seattle! Grab your walking shoes, your family and friends, and join us for the 2013 Liver Life Walk - Puget Sound! In addition to a fun walk, the morning will consist of food, festivities and entertainment for the whole family. Check-in at 8:00am, opening ceremony at 9:00am and the Walk starts at 9:30am. Closing ceremony, entertainment, and refreshments will held between 10:30am and 11:30am.

Adult Education Programs

The American Liver Foundation’s Adult Education Programs, Liver Matters and Viral Hepatitis Treatment Choices Initiative, are complimentary national education programs targeted to the general public, as well as liver disease patients. The programs are each 45-60 minutes and scheduled in collaboration with community-based agencies and corporate wellness programs. Youth Education Program

Love Your Liver is a complimentary 30-45 minute interactive presentation for youth on liver health and wellness with age appropriate activities and games for the school or after-school setting.
