Successful Hepatitis B Screening

More than 160 members of the Community Church of Seattle got tested for hepatitis B on May 13, 2007.

The Pacific Northwest chapter hosted a hepatitis B testing program at the Community Church of Seattle where more than 160 members took a blood draw to know if they were infected with hepatitis B. Dr. Sang Kim from Overlake Hospital gave a presentation about what is hepatitis B, how it is spread, who is at risk and available treatment options.

The event was the most successful THINK B program for the Asian community conducted by the Pacific Northwest chapter to date.
