2 days, 7 races. Which will you run?
The premiere springtime marathon in Denver, Colorado takes you through 26.2 miles of the Mile High City’s most famous landmarks and sights: run through the home of the Denver Broncos – Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, along 7 miles of water including Confluence Park, Cherry Creek, the Platte and Sloan’s Lake, through Denver Fire Station #1, through downtown Denver and onto America’s longest main street, Colfax Avenue - all under the majestic views of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.
13.1 Half Marathon
Denver’s wildest race is also the funnest half marathon in Colorado! This is your chance to run through Denver Zoo. Tour the historic homes and tree-lined boulevards of Park Hill and run through Aurora Fire Station #1! Enjoy the quintessential Colorado entertainment along the way – because the journey is just as important as the destination. The Colfax Half Marathon sold out in 2013.
Urban 10 Miler
Colorado’s 10 mile race runs the final miles of the marathon course through the stadium, Confluence and downtown! Start on the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design campus, finish in City Park. Spots are limited and this race sold out in 2012 and 2013.
Five friends tackle 26.2 miles in an old-school pass-the-baton relay race! Two runners go through the stadium, one enjoys Sloan’s Lake, one explores hidden, eclectic neighborhoods and one lucky runner gets the Screaming Downhill.
Companies compete in Colorado’s biggest corporate race! Relay teams of 5 co-workers take on the 26.2 mile marathon and compete for $50,000 in cash awards for charity. Awards for fastest teams and industry awards.
There is some serious competition in the Government Cup! Top teams win money for charity — and bragging rights for the year. Competition is so fierce we created a special award for the fastest Fire Department team – Aurora Fire holds the Brass Nozzle Award for 2013. Recruit your 5 person team and start training.
