Experience support in a creative and dynamic group setting. Facilitated by Muni Alam and Amelia Stoll, counselors from Colorado Health Network, this group will offer innovative tools and information that will help you feel empowered in your journey with liver disease.
When: Weekly Wednesday Sessions, January 28, 2015 - March 4, 2015

Session #1. Connecting Your Mind, Body, and Spirit / January 28, 2015 - What is the connection between mind, body, and spirit? How might healthy emotional expression promote a state overall wellbeing?
Session #2. Getting to Know Your Liver / February 4, 2015 - What is the importance of your relationship to your liver? Engage in a creative process that gives voice to your unique experience with Liver Disease.
Session #3. I’m Not Who I Used to Be / February 11, 2015 - How do you find meaning and identity when affected by chronic illness? Explore and share your journey with Liver Disease with the group through a guided art experience.
Session #4. Reclaiming Your Sacred Self / February 18, 2015 - How does your spirituality influence your experience with Liver Disease? Explore various spiritual perspectives on illness and how spiritual practices can improve health.
Session #5. Finding Your Inner Warrior / February 25, 2015 - How do you find empowerment within your struggles? Tap into your “inner warrior,” the part of you that finds strength within suffering, and learn how to create an effective self-care plan.
Session #6. Who is Your Tribe? / March 4, 2015 - What is true support? How do you connect, draw boundaries, and express your needs with those who are closest to you? Celebrate your successes and your journey with the group in this closing session.
