Join us for the 6th Annual Flavors of San Diego Culinary Gala on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the beautiful Paradise Point Resort & Spa. The Flavors Gala is a national culinary event that spotlights San Diego’s premier chefs and creates a one-of-a-kind gourmet experience for each guest. Proceeds from the Gala will directly benefit the American Liver Foundation - San Diego Chapter, helping the Association in the fight against liver diseases.
During the Gala, each chef prepares a five course culinary extravaganza with wine pairings for their personal table of ten guests. The evening begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction, at the end of which guest will join their cuisine aficionado who will be hosting them at each table. Guests go on to enjoy the signature cuisine and wine pairings of a celebrity chef, while also participating in a live auction featuring exciting trips, unique experiences, wine collections, personally hosted parties in their home by some of our featured chefs and more. No where else can San Diegans see these culinary experts at work—creating a menu that goes above and beyond the usual restaurant fare—while also benefiting a worthy cause.
We are thrilled to announce Josh Kopelman, Publisher, Dining Out Magazine, as our Culinary Chair for Flavors 2009 and Chef Jeffrey Strauss as our 2009 Chef Chair.
For the first time, local KUSI News Anchor, Bridget Naso will be our 2009 Master of Ceremonies and returning again for his fifth year, local celebrity, Bill Menish, will be our auctioneer.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
We are looking for some dynamic people who would be interested in volunteering for the Flavors Gala. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, registration, auction close-out and tear-down.
