Mahalo to the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation

The Weinberg Foundation gives $10,000 gift to the Hawai'i Chapter

Christmas came early this year for the American Liver Foundation, Hawai'i Chapter, thanks to the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. The American Liver Foundation was one of about 20 non-profit organizations that each received a gift of $10,000 for "Christmas in July." The Weinberg Foundation allows its employees to select a non-profit organization to be the recipient of a gift as a way for them to be engaged in the philanthropic process.

Aaron Okubo, Liver Buddy, and Nathan Hokama, communications consultant, shared about the American Liver Foundation at the July 11th luncheon held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel and received the grant on behalf of the chapter. The gift will be used to support local chapter programs and operations.
