About Our Chapter

Our programs and services include patient support groups, information and physician referral, and Liver Update educational seminars for physicians, patients, their families, and their friends. Each fall we publish the FYL: For Your Liver chapter newsletter. We are proud to have a Medical Advisory Committee comprised of a who’s who of the leading physicians and scientists specializing in liver disease in the South Texas area. The South Texas Chapter derives its support from the generosity of private and corporate contributions via direct donations, tributes and memorials, sponsorships, and/or participation in various special events sponsored by the South Texas Chapter each year. A Message from Executive Director Patti Wittlif

Please visit our site often to learn about fundraising and program events that we have planned for the months and year ahead, as well as ways to get involved. We are proud to facilitate support groups that help those living with or affected by liver disease, and we encourage you to participate in one. The Chapter’s goal is to serve the South Texas area including but not limited to Houston, Galveston, San Antonio, Austin, Beaumont, and Corpus Christi. Volunteers from these areas are always needed and welcome. Our outstanding record of achievement would not be possible without people from the community, like you, who complete us as an organization.
