UW Health t the American Center, Learning Kitchen - Directions

Join us to learn more about donor options More than 14,600 people are waiting for a liver transplant in the U.S., and more than 300 in Wisconsin. The waiting list is continually changing as the most severe patients are always being placed at the top of the list. While the average wait time for seriously-ill patients listed with the UW Health Liver Transplant program tends to be lower than other programs in the region, some patients may have a significant wait time. There are options to consider that may decrease that wait time.
