NEWS: DOCTORS PERFORM 1ST HIV+ ORGAN TRANSPLANT, EXPERTS FORESEE A FUTURE WITHOUT HEPATITIS B AND C

Nearly three years after the passing of bipartisan legislation, doctors are finally able to give hope to HIV positive patients in need of organ transplants. Read more here. In other news, experts from several top government agencies issued a report expressing optimism that the public health threat of Hepatitis B and C in the US can be eliminated- if we make them priorities. The 2016 Donate Life Transplant Games is a multi-sport festival event taking place June 10-15 in Cleveland, Ohio for individuals who have undergone life-saving transplant surgeries. You can help the American Liver Foundation raise awareness and funds through the Liver Life Challenge Transplant Games team.
