Two of the American Liver Foundation’s signature programs—vitally important educational and fundraising vehicles—include the “Liver Life Walk” and “Flavors.” Funding from these events supports medical research, public education, patient support services and advocacy.
Here’s a quick update as how you can participate in upcoming walks and Flavors events in various parts of the country.

Each year, thousands of people take part in our Liver Life Walk events, promoting our mission in local communities across the nation.
While the subject of liver disease is certainly serious—for instance, many people walk to honor their loved ones—the walks give teams and individuals an opportunity to be outdoors, get exercise and even have some fun.
In May and June, Liver Life Walks took place in 13 communities, from the west coast to the east coast, and many locations in between.
The good news is that other Liver Life Walks are still scheduled to take place through September.

The Flavors events are among the most anticipated American Liver Foundation events each year.
Going far beyond the expectations of regular galas, Flavors feature master chefs preparing and serving up their exclusive multi-course recipes at each table!
That’s why we describe these unique evenings as “A Culinary Experience” famous for its gourmet food and wine.
The typical Flavors evening includes a cocktail reception, a live and/or silent auction to raise funds for the American Liver Foundation’s mission, and then the unforgettable dinner.
We also often recognize dedicated advocates of our cause and organization.
Nine Flavors were held so far this year. But if your taste buds are ready, other Flavors events resume in late August and continue throughout September:
