Liver Walk Fundraising Tips

Once you set up your personalized fundraising page, you can invite your friends and family to donate directly to ALF through your page.

It's easy to donate online; there's no need to write or send checks. Each donor automatically receives a confirmation e-mail tax deduction information. You'll have 24-hour access to your donor information, and you can send e-mails from your donation center at any time! To get started, explore the chapter links to the left.

Some friendly tips:

• Set a sponsorship goal for yourself, and exceed it! Recruit ten sponsors at $20 each, and raise $200 for the ALF. Recruit more than ten people, and raise more. It's that easy!
• Ask friends and family, and make new friends in the process!
• It pays to spread the word! Send out emails from your personal fundraising web page. Use your answering machine message and your email signature to let people know about your walk and how to donate.
• Invite your friends to join you, and remember: they can sponsor you and walk with you!
• Always remember to sponsor yourself!

Does your company have a matching gifts program?

• Check with your company’s personnel department. You may be able to double the amount you raise!
• Ask for matching gift forms for all the members of your team.
• Review the requirements of your matching gifts program carefully; each program has its own policies.
