Welcome to the Desert Southwest Division
The Desert Southwest Division runs programs and fundraising events throughout the states of Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, and Utah. Our goal is to educate more people about liver disease and to serve as a resource for liver health information. Help us spread the word by telling everyone you know about the Desert Southwest Division.
Hepatitis Awareness Month
May is Hepatitis Awareness Month!
The American Liver Foundation (ALF) is dedicated to facilitating, advocating, and promoting education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease.
Did you know you can take action to prevent hepatitis? Click here (http://www.liverfoundation.org/chapters/ham) to learn about hepatitis risk factors, resources available to you, and action you can take.
The webpage includes risk assessments for hepatitis B and hepatitis C, information on viral hepatitis, information on ALF and its activities, and steps individuals can take to raise awareness and prevent viral hepatitis, press release and World Hepatitis Day information.
