About the Desert Southwest Division

Led by a voluntary Board of Directors and Medical Advisory Committee, the Desert Southwest Division offers up-to-date information and support to individuals with liver disease and their families, friends, health care professionals and the local community. We cover the states of Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Utah with over 15 support groups in our geographic area. We invite everyone to attend a support group, liver education seminar and/or a fundraising event. Please contact our office and visit the website for additional information.

A Message From Division Vice President, Melissa McCracken

Thank you for visiting the Desert Southwest Division page. We know that you will find valuable information about the American Liver Foundation as well as our local events. We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in our fundraising efforts, program activities, helping out at health fairs, and any office work. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering. We are thrilled to be the home of the first Flavors of event that happened 18 years ago in Phoenix with Chef Christopher Gross. We now also hold a Flavors of Tucson event that began six years ago. We hope that you will support us in our fundraising as well as attend the programs that are held each year.
