The Desert Southwest Division of the American Liver Foundation works to support the national mission to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease.
Led by a voluntary Board of Directors and Medical Advisory Committee, the Desert Southwest Division offers up-to-date information and support to individuals with liver disease and their families, caregivers, friends, health care professionals and the local community. We cover the states of Arizona, New Mexico and Utah with 8 support groups in our geographic area. We invite everyone to attend a support group, liver educational conference and/or a fundraising event. Please contact our office and visit the website for additional information.
Thank you for visiting the Desert Southwest Division page. We know that you will find valuable information about the American Liver Foundation as well as our local events. We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in our fundraising efforts, program activities, helping out at health fairs, and any office work. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering.
We are thrilled to be the home of the first Flavors of event that happened 26 years ago in Phoenix with Chef Christopher Gross. We also hold a Flavors of Tucson event that began 15 years ago. We hope that you will support us in our fundraising efforts as well as attend the various programs that are held each year. Please continue to check out our website for additional information and updates.
