About Our Chapter

Led by a voluntary Board of Directors and Medical Advisory Committee, the Arizona Chapter offers up-to-date information and support to individuals with liver disease and their families, friends, health care professionals and the local community. We cover the states of Arizona and New Mexico with the programs being offered in both areas. We have information about 15 support groups in our geographic area. We invite everyone to attend a support group, liver education seminar and/or a fundraising event. Please contact our office and visit the website for additional information.

A Message From Executive Director Melissa McCracken

Thank you for visiting the Arizona Chapter page. We know that you will find valuable information about the American Liver Foundation as well as our local events. We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in our fundraising efforts, program activities, helping out at health fairs, and any office work. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering. We are thrilled to be the home of the first Flavors of event that happened 16 years ago in Phoenix with Chef Christopher Gross. We now also hold a Flavors of Tucson event that began a couple of years ago. We hope that you will support us in our fundraising as well as attend the programs that are held each year.
