CT Division Volunteer Opportunities

Flavors of Connecticut - We are looking for volunteers to help serve on the planning and logistics committee for the event. First meeting will occur in November and will be held at least once a month. Roles include Ad Chairman, Sponsorship assistance, auction solicitation, PR Chairman, Volunteer Coordinator and more.

Night of volunteers for Flavors of Connecticut include help with set-up during the day and registration, auction monitoring, recording and more. The event is held in 2010 on April the 13th at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

Annual Golf Classic- Currently looking for volunteers to help plan and execute the annual Golf Classic held in July at the Mohegan Sun Country Club at Pautipaug. Committee meetings will be held begining in 2010 about once a month until July. Day of volunteers help with selling raffle tickets, auction set up and monitoring, registration, check-out, hole monitoring and more.

Liver Life Walk of Hartford and Fairfield Counties- In 2010 we will hold two Liver Life Walk events. The planning committee for our first annual Fairfield County walk to be held on September 26th at The Cove in Stamford has already begun working logistics but volunteers are needed to help acquire walkers, sponsors, media and more. Committee meetings for the Hartford County walk to be held on September 12 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford will begin in April 2010. Day of volunteers for both events are needed and include set-up, registration, walk route assistance, water distribution, volunteer coordination and more.
