To our Michigan Participants & Supporters:

Thank you for your support of the American Liver Foundation (ALF). After careful review, we have decided to close the Michigan office. This was a difficult decision and one we did not take lightly, as we have many amazing supporters such as you in Michigan.

Michigan will remain part of the Great Lakes Division and we will continue to provide support to people that contact us for referrals and resources, but there will no longer be a staff person in Michigan. We thank Patti Polmear for her efforts in Michigan. This decision is also not a reflection of her work or of your involvement and passion for our mission.

Please note that the closing of this office is not an end, it is a new direction that will ultimately benefit the financial strength and position of the organization and our mission. We will continue to evaluate our direction as a Division and include Michigan in our discussions.

There are opportunities for Michigan family and friends to remain involved with ALF. You can make a donation, host a third-party fundraising event or implement the Love Your Liver educational program in your community.
