Mid-Atlantic

Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic Division of the American Liver Foundation. We are proud to serve the patients, families, medical professionals, and communities of Central/Eastern Pennsylvania, Central/Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. Please join our efforts to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease.

Ivory Allison is a Native of Philadelphia and has been with the organization for six years. With her experience in Event Planning, Strategic Alliances and Relationship building she has grown the Mid-Atlantic Division to a thriving division.

She serves on the Philadanco Board, Business Volunteer for the Arts and the West Catholic Board of Governors. She enjoys traveling, cheering on her favorite sports teams and volunteering with many different organizations such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Heart Association and the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Philadelphia chapter.

Sandi has worked for the American Liver Foundation for 8 years. She started as a part-time employee and worker her way up to Accounts paybale, Manager at our National office in NYC. She is now the Events Adminstrator for the Mid-Atlantic Office working on our Flavors of Philadelphia and Liver Life Walk events. She has been married for 28 years and has three sons. She enjoys traveling, going to the gym, cooking and just being with her family.

Diedre Guy is a native of Philadelphia Pa where she earned both her B.S in Community Health Education from Temple University and her Master of Public Health Degree from Drexel University’s School of Public Health. Before joining the American Liver Foundation, Diedre has held several key positons with various non-profit and state funded institutions. In these positions Diedre strived to educate underserved populations of their risk for acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, sexual transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C. Diedre is trained as a disease interventionist and a licensed HIV tester/counselor. She is very passionate about the issue of HIV and how it affects women. Much of her work and research has been dedicated to understanding why women of color are impacted by the HIV and Hepatitis C epidemic. Diedre looks forward to merging her experiences with the goals of the American Liver Foundation in hopes of growing the Mid-Atlantic Divisional programs as well as the core programs of the Foundation. In her spare time she enjoys working out and spending time with family.
