The American Liver Foundation Ohio chapter serves the entire State of Ohio, including the major metropolitan areas of Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Toledo, Youngstown, Warren, Columbus, Cinncinati and Dayton. In addition to providing patients and physicians with the latest news on liver disease & research, the chapter also provides professional and public educational seminars, support groups, physician referrals, and corporate wellness seminars.

World Hepatitis Day Poster Contest May 19th, 2008 The first World Hepatitis Day will he held May 19, 2008. The aim of this single international day focusing on chronic hepatitis (B and C) is to raise awareness of these dieseases within the general public, people at risk, healthcare providers and governments. To honor this special day, the Center for Disease Control is sponsoring a national poster contest. |
