About Our Division

The Rocky Mountain Division works to support the ALF national mission of preventing, treating, and curing hepatitis and other liver diseases through research, education, and advocacy.

Led by a voluntary Board of Directors, the Rocky Mountain Division offers up-to-date information and support on behalf of those affected by or at risk of liver disease. Our programs and services include patient education, patient support, physician referral, professional education, and LIFE, the Rocky Mountain Division's quarterly newsletter.

We encourage you to learn more about the programs and services we offer here in Colorado. If you would like to volunteer for the ALF Rocky Mountain Division, please contact the division office today.

Working together, we can make a difference!

A Message from Board President Jon Zeschin

Dear Friends:

Having dinner. Taking a walk. Playing a round of golf. Enjoying a show.

All everyday leisure activities, certainly. But each is also a way you can help the Rocky Mountain Division of the American Liver Foundation raise money for research, education, and advocacy for those affected by liver disease. If you have been wondering how you can best support the ALF mission, just choose one of your favorite activities and join in! I guarantee you will have fun, meet some great people, and help a wonderful cause.

In the spring, our signature event, Flavors of Denver, features twenty chefs from premier Denver area restaurants preparing dinner tableside. Not only can you enjoy a wonderful meal paired with great wines - you also get to visit with the chef for the evening. Save Wednesday, May 2, 2007 for this very special event.

In the summer, the Rocky Mountain Golf Classic tees off. We are happy to report that The Club at Pradera will once again be the site of the 2007 Classic. This Jim Engh-designed links course was a tough but enjoyable track for the players in the 2006 Classic. A modified Stableford, best-ball scoring system make the Classic a unique golf outing. Mark Monday, August 6, 2007 on your calendar for a great day of golf.

The Football Walk for Liver Wellness is a chance to enjoy Colorado’s beautiful fall weather as you walk with hundreds of others in support of the ALF mission. Organ donors, organ recipients, and the memory of those who have succumbed to liver disease will all be honored with special souvenir footballs. Check back on our site later this year for an update on this fall's FWLW!

Sincerely yours,

Jon Zeschin
