Liver Life Walk

Walk for Fun...Walk for Life! It’s not just our motto, it’s exactly what you’ll be doing when you participate in the American Liver Foundation’s Liver Life Walk. Join thousands of supporters from coast to coast as we pound the pavement to put an end to liver disease! The Liver Life Walk is a day packed with fun and excitement. Bring your family, your coworkers and your friends. Create your own walk team! Our on-line fundraising tools make it easy to raise money that will change the lives of the 30 million people in the United States living with liver disease.

Liver Life Challenge

Run, bike or climb to support the fight against liver disease! The Liver Life Challenge challenges you to push yourself and inspire your friends and family to learn about our cause. Join ALF at Liver Life Challenge locations around the country in Spring 2009. Participate in a marathon as part of the ALF team. Climb Mount Shasta in California. Your efforts and the funds you raise will go to support invaluable research and give hope to the 30 million Americans with liver disease. Flavors Culinary Events

Our chapters organize galas and culinary events throughout the year to raise funds and honor those who have made contributions to the liver disease community. Our signature Flavors of... galas spotlight premier regional chefs and create a high-end, exclusive, gourmet experience for a limited number of guests. Nowhere else will you witness firsthand these culinary experts creating a menu that goes above and beyond the usual restaurant fare.

Educational Programs

Our educational programs and seminars provide learning opportunities for people of all backgrounds, from the lay public to healthcare professionals. You'll hear from the foremost experts in the field of liver disease research and care, and find out how liver disease can impact your health or your practice.

Musical Events

Many musicians have been moved to use their talents to support liver disease research, including Tony Bennett, Gloria Gaynor, the Village People, Fergie Frederiksen, Alex Ligertwood, and Judy Collins. Coming up: The Pointer Sisters to perform live in St. Charles, Missouri in February 2009 to benefit ALF.
